About us

Since September 2021, we have been meeting at our new venue, Gretton Village Hall.    

The new location has allowed our members to be socially distanced (if required) and to bring their own refreshments including wine, beer or soft drinks.  We do provide free tea and coffee at the meetings.

We host a number of different speakers throughout the year discussing interesting topics such as growing herbs, container plants, ponds, compost, house plants and much more.

​

We also visit gardens within the East Midlands area and often have private tours outside normal opening hours.   Admittance costs are not included within the membership fee and a small charge may be payable.​

The group is very social and we have an annual Summer BBQ in July and a Christmas meal in November (payable locally).

We are always happy to try and answer any gardening questions you may have at our meetings.

Everyone is welcome: beginners and experienced gardeners.

​

Membership is £20 per annum payable in January.
